Position Summary

The Revenue Management team is responsible for maximizing ticket revenue on every flight, every day, within the JetBlue route network. The group consists of two teams—Yield and Pricing—that work closely to ensure JetBlue sells the optimal number of tickets across various prices based on customer demand.

This role will focus on one of two areas:

• Yield: As a Yield Associate Analyst, you will manage revenue for a portfolio of JetBlue routes, often generating over $100 million in revenue. You will use Yield controls to determine the best fare to maximize revenue on each flight.
• Pricing: As a Pricing Associate Analyst, you will ensure JetBlue remains competitive by monitoring industry pricing changes and responding accordingly. You will collaborate with the Yield team to optimize pricing structures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Implement and test revenue management theories to improve business processes
• Design fare tests to analyze customer demand elasticity
• Analyze ticketing data to inform pricing strategies
• Communicate revenue performance and market dynamics to team members and management
• Support other teams such as Sales, Network Planning, Loyalty, and Marketing
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields or equivalent work experience
• At least one year in an analytical role or coursework
• Strong communication and quantitative skills
• Attention to detail and analytical reasoning
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure
• Availability for occasional overnight travel
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and be legally eligible to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant fields
• Revenue Management experience
• Proficiency in SQL and database tools
