Position Overview:

WebMD is seeking a Website Traffic Analyst to join the Media Delivery Operations team to help manage our growing Consumer and Professional media business. This is a great opportunity for a qualified individual to work directly with key client-facing organizations and support strategic advertising and marketing programs for major Pharmaceutical and Consumer Packaged Goods companies.

The Website Traffic Analyst supports Finance, Clients, Sales, Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Ad Operations, and Inventory Management. The role involves ongoing tracking, analysis, and reporting of media program performance against contractual goals, requiring proactive management, problem solving, and communication for all media campaigns from trafficking through delivery, with regular updates on performance against contractual guarantees.

Responsibilities:
  • Understanding deal terms, guarantees, and deliverables for sponsored programs to monitor and report on those programs from sale to delivery.
  • Ad Campaign Performance Tracking, Order Management, Revenue Planning and Recognition, and Campaign Analysis.
  • Setting up and maintaining regular reporting for campaign performance/pacing tracking, monthly billing, and revenue true-up by analyzing media delivery data.
  • Reconciling billing when needed.
  • Developing expertise in third-party ad serving technologies and WebMD proprietary tools.
  • Communicating campaign obstacles, addressing delivery concerns, and resolving media billing disputes.
  • Monitoring revenue expectations and communicating changes promptly for forecasting.
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related quantitative field, with at least 2 years of professional experience.
  • Experience in digital media and solid knowledge of media math.
  • Knowledge of ad serving technologies and media reporting platforms such as Google Ad Manager, Google Campaign Manager, Flashtalking, Innovid, MOAT, DoubleVerify, IAS, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong data management skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Responsible, accountable, and results-driven attitude.
