Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Associate Loads and Dynamics Engineer to support fixed-wing programs in Berkeley, Missouri. You will perform loads and dynamics analyses, model development, and testing coordination to ensure air vehicle performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

The role requires strong analytical skills, coursework in aeroelasticity and FEM, and collaboration with internal teams and external customers. A US security clearance may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Coursework in Aerodynamics, Stability & Control, Structural Dynamics, Aeroelasticity, and/or FEM.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing air vehicle requirements.
• Create vehicle-level models for loads and dynamics analysis.
• Perform loads and dynamics analysis to support air vehicle design (flight/ground simulations, flutter/divergence, noise/vibration).
• Assist in developing flight and ground test requirements and plans.
• Support ground and flight testing with pre-test analyses and post-processing of data.
