The role focuses on determining effective approaches to resolve challenging engineering problems in airframe integrity, including loads development for flight, landing and ground operations. The candidate will perform aeroelastic analyses, develop models, and use test data to certify airworthiness per MIL, STANAG, or FAR standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• Two or more years engineering experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to perform FEA on aircraft structures.
• Experience with aeroelastic loads development and flight dynamics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support design of new products and integration of payloads.
• Perform loads and dynamics analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems.
• Develop load cases for flight, landing, and ground operations.
• Create aeroelastic models for flutter and aeroservoelastic analyses.
• Utilize test data to correlate structural dynamics models.
• Generate documentation to support airworthiness certification.
