Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking an Associate, Training Developer to design, develop, and evaluate technical training for field technicians and front-line leaders. You will own projects, mentor junior developers, and apply AI-enabled methods to create scalable, effective learning aligned with company goals.

The role collaborates with SMEs and stakeholders, requiring strong instructional design skills, LMS proficiency, and experience delivering hands-on, safety-aware training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in training development, instructional design, or technical training.
• 3+ years of experience developing or delivering technical training for field technicians or similar hands-on roles.
• Proven experience using generative AI tools to design, develop, or evaluate training programs.
• Working knowledge of safety- and compliance-driven training environments (OSHA, NERC, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop learning programs using advanced instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, adult learning theory).
• Conduct needs assessments and gap analyses to identify and address training requirements.
• Develop and refine learning objectives, assessments, and multimedia content that deliver high-quality learning experiences and meet organizational goals.
• Develop or revise instructor-led training material packages, aligning content, assessments, and evaluations with well-defined learning objectives.
• Design hands-on, performance-based technical training for field technicians, including job aids, practical assessments, and skills verification.
