The position involves managing proposal intake, reviewer coordination, applicant communications, and evaluation activities, with opportunities to shape program strategy and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace/Microsoft Office; Excel pivot tables and formulas; Airtable desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of the grant process from proposal intake to final reporting.
• Identify and coordinate external reviewers to evaluate proposals.
• Communicate with nominators and applicants throughout the selection process.
• Assist in scheduling interviews and preparing review materials.
• Serve as a point of contact for the grantee network and assist with convenings and travel logistics.
• Develop programming and manage RSVPs, travel logistics, and materials for events.
• Coordinate publicity of awardees' research and impact with science writers.
• Compile data for project and program evaluations in partnership with staff.
• Develop evaluation criteria with program staff and execute evaluation processes.
