Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Associate Aeronautical Engineering Manager to lead the ADP Subsystems Design and Installation team, delivering advanced aeronautical solutions. You will provide administrative leadership while performing hands-on design work with the team.

You will mentor engineers, oversee compensation and training, and drive continuous improvement within the ADP program. A secret clearance and US citizenship are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Team leadership experience in aeronautical engineering.
• Experience in subsystem design and installation (Airframe/Structural Layout, Detail Part and Assembly).
• Proficiency with CAD tools: 3D Experience, CATIA, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, Creo, Unigraphics, NX.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• US Citizen with active Secret clearance; facility requires special access.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative leadership to the ADP program, balancing managerial duties with hands-on technical work with the Design team.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, conducting performance assessments and career planning.
• Oversee administrative functions, including compensation, awards, and recognition processes.
• Manage training activities and behavioral actions to ensure team readiness.
• Execute technical design tasks in partnership with the Design Team Manager.
