Job summary

Park Avenue Capital is seeking an Associate Advisor to support senior advisors, prepare for client meetings, and coordinate ongoing service activities in wealth management.

The ideal candidate is organized, client-focused, and eager to develop in financial planning and relationship management while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Service Manager for an assigned group of client relationships.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial planning recommendations.
  • Coordinate meeting preparation, case analysis, and follow up activities for client meetings.
  • Prepare advisors for upcoming client meetings by identifying service needs and planning opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for client and prospect workflows, ensuring a seamless service experience.
  • Act as the Relationship Manager for a designated group of clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and internal team members to support ongoing service needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of financial planning and investment recommendations.
  • Support business development efforts through exceptional client service and relationship management.

Overview

The Associate Advisor plays a critical role in supporting our advisors and delivering an outstanding client experience. This position works closely with Lead Advisors to prepare for client meetings, coordinate ongoing service activities, and help implement financial planning recommendations.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Financial Planning, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or investment management.
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63/65 licenses, or the ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
  • Life and Health Insurance License, or the ability to obtain within 120 days of hire.
  • Actively pursuing CFP® or CPWA® designation.
