Uber is seeking an actuarial candidate to disrupt the transportation space by applying traditional actuarial skills to innovative insurance challenges. You will produce timely estimates, build processes, and collaborate across risk, legal, and finance to drive impactful forecasts.

Ideal candidates have 4+ CAS Exams and at least 3 years of P&C experience, with strong Excel and SQL skills. In‑office presence is expected for most roles with some remote options depending on location.

What You'll Do

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS Math, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science or Similar
• Candidate with 4+ CAS Exams and a minimum of 3 years of property and casualty insurance experience
• Excel skills, proficient with SQL (or similar querying language)

Preferred Qualifications

• ACAS/FCAS Designation, or equivalent
• Experience with R, Python or similar coding languages
• Experience with commercial or personal auto insurance
• Great communication and organization skills, ability to multitask and be a team player
• Balance attention to detail with swift and practical execution
• Drive to learn complex topics
• Enthusiasm about Uber!

For New York City, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $131,000 per year - USD $145,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD $131,000 per year - USD $145,000 per year.

• For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
• All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
