  • Preparing and checking a range of actuarial calculations, including funding valuations, accounting disclosures and calculations in respect of employers joining or leaving
  • Preparing client communications, reports and presentations and attending client meetings
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships, developing an understanding of clients’ wider challenges and objectives
  • Managing aspects of client account administration, including monitoring work in progress and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting and developing less experienced colleagues through coaching, training and sharing knowledge
  • Contributing to proposition development, process improvement initiatives and the delivery of wider business objectives

  • Strong technical actuarial skills, including experience of actuarial calculations and pension valuations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
  • A proactive approach to learning and developing technical, consulting and leadership skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively and contribute positively to team success
