Qualifications

• 1–3 years accounts receivable experience preferred.
• Experience with customer invoicing or payment portals preferred.
• Basic accounting knowledge.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Adaptable to a rapidly changing environment.
• Works under direct supervision and follows defined guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely processing of AR transactions, with primary responsibility for cash receipts application.
• Assist with processing and applying customer payments, ensuring proper posting and reconciliation.
• Research and resolve straightforward AR discrepancies and unapplied cash; escalate complex issues.
• Assist with new customer setup and maintenance of records, including portal accounts.
• Maintain accurate accounting records to ensure data integrity and auditability.
• Ensure compliance with policies, GAAP, and applicable laws.
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries in a timely manner.
