Southland Industries is seeking an Associate Accountant – Accounts Receivable to support AR recordkeeping, posting transactions, and maintaining customer and job accounts. You will assist with cash receipts application, payment posting, and reconciliations while ensuring data integrity and GAAP compliance.

The role requires 1–3 years in AR, familiarity with invoicing portals, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1-3 Years Accounts receivable experience preferred
• Experience working within customer invoicing or payment portals preferred
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong organization skills with high level of attention to detail
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Computer proficiency and intermediate level ability to utilize MS Word, Excel, Power Point
• Able to remain flexible in a rapidly changing environment

Pay: Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For California this ranges from $27.00 - $30.00/hour plus annual incentive, benefits, and retirement program as outlined above.
