BST Gallagher Flynn LLP seeks an Associate to support our Accounting & Assurance team in Albany area. You will perform fieldwork, prepare basic financial statements, and analyze discrepancies while collaborating with colleagues and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting and a basic understanding of auditing principles.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, OnPoint Audit, and related A&A tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients and team members.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Progress toward CPA licensure or active pursuit.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct fieldwork and testing, and clearly document results in accordance with applicable professional standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assignments accurately and timely

• Assist with preparing basic financial statements and related disclosures
• Analyze financial information and investigate discrepancies or unusual items
