BST Gallagher Flynn LLP is seeking an Audit Associate to perform fieldwork and testing under professional standards. You will document results and collaborate with team members to ensure accurate, timely completion of assignments.

About the Audit & Assurance Team

About the Audit Associate Role

Associates are accountable for applying their working knowledge and skills, developed through formal training or relevant work experience, to complete assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. In this role, you will:

• Conduct fieldwork and testing, and clearly document results in accordance with applicable professional standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete assignments accurately and timely
• Adhere to departmental and firm operating procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate electronic workpapers and documentation
• Assist with preparing basic financial statements and related disclosures
• Analyze financial information and investigate discrepancies or unusual items
• Develop an understanding of clients' businesses, operations, and industries
• Communicate with clients and team members to gather information and provide updates
• Follow firm policies, professional standards, and established audit procedures

To be successful in this role, you will bring with you:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
• A basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles
• Basic industry-specific knowledge
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, OnPoint Audit, and other programs utilized within A&& department
