Job summary

Kautex in Indiana is seeking an Associate Accounting to support billing, accounts payable and receivable tasks, and asset accounting. This role partners with finance to ensure accurate month-end activities and consolidations.

You will work in a manufacturing setting, using SAP (R/3 moving to SAP Hana), Hyperion reporting and Excel, with a BS in accounting and 1–2 years of experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• SAP R/3 experience is essential; we'll be transitioning to SAP Hana.
• Microsoft Office fluency - especially Excel.
• Experience with Hyperion financial reporting.
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience in accounting or finance role; manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process billings for Kautex Inc.
• Processing and investigating A/P and A/R including bad debts
• Set up manual invoices (tools, development services, protoyptes, etc.) as needed
• Perform fixed asset accounting for Kautex, Inc.
• Assist in the month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes
• Assist in the monthly consolidations for Kautex, Inc.
• Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
• Select payroll processing duties
• Ensure compliance with Textron and Kautex policies and procedures
