Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking an Associate Accountant to support the month-end close and financial statements within the Accounting & Finance organization. You will perform journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis to help deliver accurate reporting and facilitate audits.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with at least two years of experience, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• At least two years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and complete account reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly internal financial packages and external reporting.
• Support projects to improve reporting and increase efficiency.
• Assist with month-end processes and internal control documentation.
• Support audits with documentation and data gathering.
• Identify opportunities to use AI tools to improve processes.
