Prager Metis CPAs LLC is seeking a qualified accounting professional to assist with tax returns, payroll filings, and related compliance tasks in Asheville, North Carolina. You will prepare returns, vouchers, and client communications, while ensuring deadlines and accuracy across filings.

Qualificações

• CPA or working toward CPA eligibility.
• Must meet the credit requirement for CPA eligibility.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting.
• Prior internship experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience with Prosystem FX engagement, CCH Axcess, Microsoft Office products, QuickBooks, Xero is preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions, quarterly estimated tax payments.
• Assist with creating and requesting checks and mailing federal and state estimated tax vouchers.
• Preparation of household employer payroll tax filings.
• Process electronic filing of tax returns.
• Maintain tax refunds ledger.
• Gain/Loss review and comparison.
• Maintain tax database for tracking of all client deadlines and filings.
• Tax reporting system data maintenance.
• Printing, collation and mailing of tax returns to clients.
• Scanning/organizing electronic tax docs.
• Printing and mailing notices to the IRS and State agencies.
