Job summary

HUB International is seeking an Associate Account Executive in Melville, NY, on a hybrid schedule. You will support Commercial Lines teams by maintaining account folders, checking coverages, preparing proposals, and processing endorsements and invoices.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn about various insurance lines. This entry-level position offers training, supervision, and opportunities for professional license progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines.
• Check policy coverages and endorsements on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance.
• Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
• Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports.
• Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations.
• Liaise with Accounting on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices.
• Handle or refer insured’s and underwriter’s questions.
• Pursue a program of professional development.
• Begin studies for appropriate licenses.

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team in our Melville, NY office on a Hybrid work schedule.

Functions & Responsibilities

The expected salary range for this position is $34.34/hr to $37.09/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
