Job summary

HUB International in Berkeley Heights, NJ, is seeking an Associate Account Executive for our Commercial Lines team on a Hybrid schedule. You will maintain client folders, review coverages, prepare proposals, process endorsements, and coordinate with Accounting on premiums.

The role requires a nearly one-year experience and a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a salary range of $34.34–$37.09/hour, with potential bonuses and a strong focus on professional

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We currently have an opportunity for an Associate Account Executive to join our Commercial Lines team in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office on a Hybrid work schedule.

Functions and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining account folders in accordance with internal Quality Control guidelines
• Check policy coverages and endorsement on all new business and renewals for accuracy and relevance
• Complete specs, prepare proposals, policy summaries and reviews
• Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing: Credit, Debit, Monthly reports
• Review policies for accuracy and adequacy of coverage, including rating calculations
• Liase with Accounting department on research and justification of premium charges as compared with endorsements and invoices
• Handle or refer insureds and underwriter’s questions
• Perform other specific duties as directed by the Account Executive
• Pursue a program of professional development

Requirements:

• Less than 1 year related experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• A valid P& C License
• Detail oriented with good mathematical and communication skills
• Ability to understand, analyze, and research different lines of insurance
• Ability to work within designated time frames
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with an agency management system preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $34.34/hr to $37.09/hr and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
