Responsibilities of the Associate Account Executive include:
- Expand the sales of Ethicon US, LLC products and convert competitive products in a manner that complies with company policy and sales direction.
- Support the aligned Area/Region for all sales-related activities, and upon successful completion of duties, will be eligible to compete for the role of an Account Executive.
- Be trained to understand and demonstrate proper use of our products to healthcare providers in an operating room setting.
- Execute the selling cycle professionally, ethically, and effectively, leading the customer to action.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Understanding and demonstrating proper preparation and surgical use of all Ethicon products.
- Managing customer product questions and objections in line with sales training methodology.
- Conducting sales presentations using current selling methods learned in training courses.
- Providing case coverage and assisting surgeons through strategic platforms and products in the operating room.
- Complying with standards for safe behavior and demonstrating product, procedure, and clinical knowledge in accordance with company policies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-2 years of business experience
- Ability to travel as necessary (overnight/weekend) and/or relocate as needed
- Valid U.S. Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications:
- Over 2 years of professional experience
- Experience in business planning and forecasting
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business
- Experience selling in new or changed sales channels
- Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
- Excellent process management and organizational skills
- Proven sales success
- Ability to work in an operating room environment
