Job summary

Hawkins Ash CPAs in Marshfield, WI is seeking an Associate to join our office and support audit, review, and compilation engagements. You will assist with preparing tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and not-for-profits, and help prepare financial statements for clients.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA or CPA eligibility, 0–3 years of public accounting experience, and strong communication and multi-tasking skills.

What you’ll do:

• Work on audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and not-for-profits
• Prepare financial statements
• Electronically submit governmental audit-related information
• Provide basic accounting, bookkeeping, and operational support to clients
• Respond to Firm and client requests
• Assist with various projects and duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, with CPA or CPA eligibility
• 0-3 years of experience in public accounting preferred
• Exceptional communication and strong multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary
