Korn Ferry is partnering with a Private Equity client in Denver to recruit an Associate focused on financial modeling for acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio analysis. The role spans fundraising, financing, budgeting, and strategic market analysis in a dynamic real estate environment.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Finance or Real Estate and 3–5 years in banking, consulting, or real estate brokerage, with strong Excel skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work well

Our client is a fast-growing real estate investment firm in Denver, Colorado.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Associate will devote the majority of their time to preparing financial models for acquisitions, dispositions and analysis of the existing portfolio. In addition, there will be many special projects that arise in this dynamic company that will likely span the gamut of fund raising, financing, budgeting and strategic analysis of new markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Underwriting of new investment opportunities throughout the United States
• Budgeting and tracking of the existing real estate portfolio
• Working with the team to identify ways to constantly improve operational performance
• Assisting with the selection of new markets
• Assisting with the financing and selling of specific assets or pools of assets
• Assist in ongoing asset management across the existing portfolio
• Assist with or perform other tasks as needed
• Some travel will be required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a focus on Finance or Real Estate
• 3-5 years’ hands-on experience with a banking institution, consulting group or real estate brokerage firm. Candidates with less than 2 years of relevant experience will not be considered for this position.
• Must be a strong communicator who works well in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel required; PowerPoint is also helpful
• Ability to handle transactional deadlines, which may require some longer hours
