Job summary

Colliers International is seeking a real estate sales professional to collaborate on leasing, marketing and sales initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience and work within a collaborative team while pursuing independent deal management over time.

You’ll drive outreach, maintain prospect databases, and participate in industry events, with growth opportunities in a high-energy, commission-based environment.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Real Estate practitioner with Ohio license (or in progress).
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business and follow up on leads to close deals.
  • Maintain databases to track prospects and opportunities.
  • Attend local events, network, and participate in client meetings.
  • Prepare materials and review proposals, leases, and related docs.
  • Progress toward independently managing real estate transactions.

About You As a real estate sales professional, you will collaborate on the daily operation of the team’s business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of commercial leasing, marketing, and sales – not to mention a unique combination of financial and research skills. Long-term growth opportunities are possible and encouraged. Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

In this role, you will…

  • Be heavily involved with cold calling and prospecting for new business and following up on leads and opportunities to assist in deals.
  • Maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
  • Bring a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
  • Go through training to learn the “Colliers Way” of doing business.
  • Coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases, and related documents.
  • Prepare and distribute presentations, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Eventually transition to independently managing real estate sales transactions from start to finish.
What you’ll bring
  • Licensed Real Estate practitioner with the State of Ohio (or in the process of obtaining).
  • Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do.
  • Excellent interpersonal, quantitative, writing, and communication skills.
  • Well-organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Desire to advance in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Prior experience using CRM programs.
  • Spreadsheet application experience (Microsoft Excel).
Salary

This role is a 1099 independent contractor position and is 100% commission-based. #LI-KS1
