Job summary

The Associate Teacher role at Wentworth-Douglass Physicians Organization (WDP) in the Early Learning Center is a full-time day position. You will support the lead teacher to provide a nurturing, developmentally appropriate, and inclusive learning environment for young children.

Minimum requirements include 1–2 years of experience and an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or active matriculation toward an Associate Degree with completion within 2 years of hire.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in early childhood education or related setting.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or actively pursuing toward Assoc Degree with completion within 2 years of hire.
• Creativity, nurturing and warmth with good communication and teamwork; adherence to the NAEYC Ethical Conduct Code.

Experience Minimum Required

Education Minimum Required

Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field or actively matriculating toward Assoc Degree with completion within 2 years of hire.

Special Skills Minimum Required

Possesses traits of creativity, nurturing, and personal warmth. Possesses good communication skills, a willingness to work as a team with co‑workers, and an acceptance of and adherence to the Ethical Conduct Code of the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Licensure and/or Certifications Required

CPR and First Aid within three months of hire.
