Job summary

Human Touch Home Health Care seeks an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate, configure, deliver and support complex rehabilitation technology and DME for patients in clinics and homes.

You will collaborate with therapists, physicians, and caregivers to ensure safe, medically appropriate equipment and payer-supported documentation, while maintaining Medicare/Medicaid compliance and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RESNA Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification.
• Experience in DME, CRT, rehabilitation technology, wheelchair seating and mobility.
• Knowledge of complex power mobility devices, manual wheelchairs, seating systems and accessories.
• Ability to evaluate functional mobility, seating, positioning, and safe equipment operation.
• Strong written documentation skills and ability to prepare payer-supporting documentation.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the service territory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate work approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person patient assessments, equipment trials, home evaluations, and mobility evaluations with clinicians.
• Review prescriptions and therapy evaluations to recommend medically necessary DME/CRT solutions.
• Measure and assess seating, positioning, power/manual mobility, and related needs.
• Configure and justify appropriate mobility equipment and accessories.
• Participate in selection of complex mobility devices for payer/regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, facilities, and caregivers.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes, equipment specs, and payer documentation.
• Coordinate with billing and customer-service teams on funding requirements.
• Oversee equipment ordering, delivery, setup, training, and adjustments.
• Perform final delivery checks for safe operation and proper fit.
• Identify maintenance needs and coordinate service support.
• Maintain referrals relationships and represent the company professionally.
• Stay current on Medicare, Medicaid, and quality standards.
