Job summary

Human Touch Home Care is seeking an Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) to evaluate and configure CRT and DME for mobility, seating, and related devices. You’ll work directly with patients, therapists, physicians, and payers to provide safe, medically appropriate equipment solutions.

The role emphasizes clinical coordination of complex mobility cases, adherence to Medicare/Medicaid and quality standards, and collaboration with a broad care team across DC MD VA. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Current RESNA ATP certification required.
• Experience with DME, CRT, seating and mobility solutions.
• Ability to evaluate functional mobility and safe equipment operation.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout service territory.
• Strong documentation, payer documentation, and clinical notes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person patient assessments, equipment trials, and home evaluations.
• Review prescriptions and therapy evaluations to recommend DME/CRT solutions.
• Configure and justify mobility equipment including power seating and controls.
• Coordinate with clinicians, facilities, and caregivers for patient care.
• Prepare payer-supporting documentation and maintain accurate clinical notes.
• Coordinate ordering, delivery, setup, and patient training.
• Ensure safe operation and proper fitting with final delivery checks.
