Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in New York is seeking an Assisted Living Coordinator to lead daily care operations, build a strong caregiving team and deliver resident-centered services.

You will recruit, hire and develop staff, manage staffing and scheduling, coordinate with clinical teams on assessments and care planning, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role supports budgets and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in assisted living, long-term care or healthcare.
• 1+ year supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong staffing, scheduling and team management skills.
• Knowledge of resident care practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting, hiring and development of the caregiving team.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and daily timekeeping reviews.
• Oversee daily operations of the assisted living neighborhood.
• Ensure delivery of Resident-Centered Care and ISP execution.
• Partner with clinical teams on assessments, care planning and resident needs.
• Monitor resident changes in condition and communicate with families.
• Collaborate with Activities and Dining to enhance resident experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety and quality standards.
• Manage team performance, engagement, coaching and evaluations.
• Support department budget, labor management and operational efficiency.
