Era Living is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant (CNA/NAC/HCA/NAR) for The Gardens at Town Square in Bellevue, WA. Shifts are Friday and Saturday, 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

Responsibilities include providing compassionate personal care, assisting with medications when needed, and supporting resident independence in a respectful environment. CNA or HCA certifications are required; RN option with proven ERA Living school credential may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide Certification; RN with Era Living approved school qualification and NAR license if applicable.
• CNA license required within 120 days of hire; Dementia and Mental Health training within 90 days.
• Current first aid and CPR certification required.
• Medication Technician certification or ability to obtain within 30 days; Food Handler's Certificate within 14 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transferring, toileting, feeding) to residents in licensed apartments.
• Communicate effectively with residents, including those with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
• Assist residents with self-medication as required.
• Perform simple housekeeping tasks and maintain clean apartment and bathroom per protocol.

Era Living is seeking a part‑time Resident Assistant (CNA/NAC/HCA/NAR) to become the newest member of our Community Health team located in our The Gardens at Town Square Community, Bellevue, WA. Available shifts will be scheduledFriday & Saturday, 3:00PM to 9:30PM.

Primary Responsibilities:

The Resident Assistant carries out the concepts of Assisted Living, ensuring resident choice, independence, privacy, respect, and dignity in all interactions. Resident Assistants provide personal care services and exceptional clinical observation of residents living in licensed apartments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, transferring, toileting and feeding) to all residents living in licensed apartments

• Communicate effectively with persons with cognitive impairment and mental health issues

• Assist residents with their self-medications as required

• Provide simple housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up the apartment and bathroom, and emptying trash per protocol

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to provide all aspects of personal care to older adults at all functional levels

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form

• Ability to schedule tasks effectively to meet strict deadlines and within allotted time

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English

• Ability to pass DSHS and State background check, required

Education and Experience:

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Care Aide Certification required; Registered Nursing Assistant Certification acceptable with proof of graduation from Era Living approved school, a copy of NAR license, and on condition that CNA license is earned within 120 days of hire

• Must complete Dementia and Mental Health training within 90 days of hire

• Current first aid and CPR certification, required

• Possess Medication Technician certification or able to obtain within 30‑days of hire, as required by community

• Food Handler’s Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire

• Two (2) years’ experience working with seniors preferred

• One (1) year experience care giving preferred
