Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Executive Director of Assisted Living to provide executive leadership for the Tucson campus AL department. This role oversees operations, care delivery, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership to ensure residents receive high-quality, safe, respectful, and engaging services.

You will lead 66-bed AL, manage budgets, collaborate with campus leadership, and partner with residents and families to support satisfaction and occupancy

Qualifications

• Valid Assisted Living Facility Manager License issued by the State of Arizona.
• Minimum five years of leadership experience in assisted living or long-term care.
• LPN license preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of assisted living operations, regulatory compliance, and medication management.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, licensure standards, and resident rights.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee staff.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and workforce planning to support quality care and operational efficiency.
• Manage departmental budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Partner with residents and families to support satisfaction and address concerns.
• Collaborate with Sales, and Experience teams to support occupancy and resident engagement.
• Promote a culture of dignity, respect, hospitality, and accountability.
• Respond to operational needs and emergencies as required.

This key leadership role is responsible for departmental operations, care delivery, regulatory compliance, and staff leadership, while ensuring residents receive high-quality services in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.

Position Overview

The Executive Director of Assisted Living oversees the day-to-day operations of the Assisted Living department and serves as a member of the campus leadership team. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, leads and develops staff, manages departmental resources, and promotes a culture of service excellence, accountability, and teamwork.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Assisted Living Facility Manager License issued and recognized by the State of Arizona (required).
• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in assisted living, long-term care, or a related healthcare setting
• LPN license preferred, but not required
• Strong knowledge of assisted living operations, regulatory compliance, and medication management
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
