Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the maintenance of buildings, grounds, security, and mechanical assets of the community.
  2. Ensure the execution of housekeeping, laundry, and transportation services according to community policies and procedures.
  3. Oversee the operation and maintenance of the campus, ensuring buildings meet high standards of construction.
  4. Develop vendor relationships and negotiate maintenance service contracts when appropriate.
  5. Conduct apartment inspections prior to occupancy.
  6. Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed.
  7. Implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.
  8. Lead the overall housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  9. Review monthly financial statements and develop action plans for deficiencies.
  10. Process and submit monthly expenses and budget data promptly.
  11. Manage team member staffing and scheduling within operational and budgetary guidelines.
  12. Ensure transportation vehicles are maintained, inspected regularly, and operated safely.
  13. Oversee safe transportation of passengers, adhering to schedules.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or a related Bachelor's/Technical degree.
  2. At least four years of maintenance supervision experience.
  3. HVAC experience or training.
  4. Knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing, and related repairs.
  5. Experience with electrical systems, fire panels, emergency response systems, and disaster preparedness.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  8. Strong leadership qualities, confidence, and motivational skills.
