Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a compassionate Senior Living Caregiver for our Carolina Park community in Mount Pleasant, SC. This position supports residents in Assisted Living, assisting with daily living activities and medication management during a 11pm–7am shift.

Qualifications

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed. (Chart by exception)
• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

If you are someone with:

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This role involves frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 75 lbs), and assisting with resident care. Regular bending, reaching, and physical movement are required throughout the workday.
