Walnut Creek Care Community in Moraine, Ohio is seeking a compassionate Hospitality Aide to join the Lionstone Healthcare team. You will assist with non-hands-on patient support, transport, and general clerical tasks under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

This role supports resident comfort and care. You will help with meal distribution, activity assistance, and daily tasks while upholding standards for safety, privacy, and quality care.

Responsabilidades

• Acknowledge residents' and families' concerns and report to the nurse supervisor.
• Respond to call lights promptly and assist or refer as needed.
• Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality.
• Perform host/hostess duties: transport patients, assist with meals, distribute laundry.
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, answer phones.
• Deliver snacks to patients not requiring feeding assistance.
• Assist Activity Director with patient activities and run errands.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospitality Aide to join our team at Lionstone Healthcare. As a key member of our care team, you will provide patient-related care and ancillary services in accordance with Reach LTC Ohio quality standards under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor. Your primary responsibilities will include providing non-hands-on care, transporting patients, and performing various administrative tasks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge residents' and families' concerns and report them to the nurse supervisor
• Respond to all call lights timely, providing non-hands-on care or referring to appropriate staff
• Maintain confidentiality and provide privacy to residents
• Perform host/hostess duties, including transporting patients, assisting with meal distribution, and distributing personal laundry
• Clean combs and brushes, deliver ice and water, and answer telephone calls
• Deliver snacks to patients who do not require assistance in feeding
• Assist the Activity Director with patient activities and run errands for patients and staff

Safety and Sanitation:

• Ensure that nursing service work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary manner
• Report missing or illegible labels and MSDSs to the safety officer or other designated person
• Maintain resident care rooms and treatment areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner

Resident Rights:

• Honor the resident's refusal of treatment request and report such action to your supervisor
• Abide by the resident's participation in treatment decision
• Inform the resident of consequences of not participating in prescribed therapy and document such action in the resident's clinical record
• Report any complaints or grievances to the department supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
