Job summary

Horizon House, Seattle's respected life-plan community, seeks an Assisted Living Administrator to shape the future of its senior living services. You will lead operational excellence across the unit, balancing financial performance, staffing, and regulatory compliance to deliver outstanding resident care.

The role requires executive presence, strategic thinking, and a calm, decisive management style, with a focus on staff development and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience, supervising managers or department leaders.
  • 2+ years in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing with knowledge of regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full operations of the Assisted Living unit including financial performance.
  • Oversee staffing models, census growth, regulatory compliance and resident satisfaction.
  • Drive operational efficiency and staff development to sustain a resident-centered culture.

Join our team as the Assisted Living Administrator. This is an opportunity to shape the next chapter of Assisted Living at one of Seattle’s most respected life-plan senior living communities, with a legacy of serving older adults for more than 65 years. Horizon House is seeking a transformational, business‑minded operator who can build upon an already successful culture and lead Assisted Living into its next phase of operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring experience leading the full operations of the Assisted Living business unit, including financial performance, staffing models, census growth, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, team development, and resident satisfaction.

Pay Range: $140,000 to $175,000 annually

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience, including direct supervision of managers and/or department leaders.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing with knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
