Job summary

Horizon House in Seattle is seeking an Assisted Living Administrator to shape the next chapter of care excellence. This executive role oversees the full Assisted Living operations, including budget, staffing, regulatory compliance, and resident experience.

The successful candidate will bring 3+ years leading senior living operations, a Bachelor's in Healthcare Admin, and a track record of building strong teams, improving census, and sustaining a resident-centered culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience, supervising managers/leaders.
  • 2+ years in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing with regulatory knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full operations of the Assisted Living unit, including budget and staffing.
  • Drive census growth, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and resident satisfaction.
  • Develop leaders, coach teams, and preserve a resident-centered culture.

Job description

Join our team as the Assisted Living Administrator. This is an opportunity to shape the next chapter of Assisted Living at one of Seattle’s most respected life-plan senior living communities, with a legacy of serving older adults for more than 65 years. Horizon House is seeking a transformational, business-minded operator who can build upon an already successful culture and lead Assisted Living into its next phase of operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bring experience leading the full operations of the Assisted Living business unit, including financial performance, staffing models, census growth, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, team development, and resident satisfaction.

Pay Range:

$140,000 to $175,000 annually

This individual should bring executive presence, calm decision-making, strategic thinking, operational discipline, and a genuine passion for solving complex challenges.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience, including direct supervision of managers and/or department leaders.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in Assisted Living or Skilled Nursing with knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
