Friona Industries LP is seeking an Assistant Yard Maintenance Manager to assist the Yard Manager in running daily yard operations, maintenance, and equipment use at the feedyard. The role focuses on supervising tasks, maintenance records, and safety compliance to ensure efficient yard functioning.
Responsibilities include coordinating crew activities, maintaining pens and facilities, and managing yard expenses while working closely with the Yard Manager to ensure smooth operations.
The Assistant Yard Maintenance Manager reports to the Yard Manager and it assists with managing all general yard maintenance, repair, and daily operations. This role helps communicate all yard activities and troubleshoot daily yard requirements with the yard crew as necessary to ensure efficient yard operations. This position will be responsible for assisting with the operation of various heavy equipment and will ensure the general functionalities of the feedyard in conjunction with the Yard Manager.

Degree in Agriculture preferred, in lieu of degree, work experience and/or trade school is acceptable.
