Friona Industries is seeking an Assistant Yard Maintenance Manager to assist the Yard Manager in overseeing daily yard operations, repair, and maintenance of pens and cattle facilities. You will help coordinate tasks, supervise shop activities, track expenses, and ensure safe, efficient operation of heavy equipment across the feedyard.

General Description / Objective

The Assistant Yard Maintenance Manager reports to the Yard Manager and itassists with managing all general yard maintenance, repair, and daily operations. This role helps communicate all yard activities and troubleshoot daily yard requirements with the yard crew as necessary to ensure efficient yard operations. This position will be responsible for assisting with the operation of various heavy equipment and will ensure the general functionalities of the feedyard in conjunction with the Yard Manager.

• Hazards Include Exposure to hazardous chemicals and petroleum products, carbon monoxide exposure, lifting, welding, cutting, and grinding.
