Job summary

The ideal candidate has a valid Minnesota coaching certificate or equivalent qualifications, plus demonstrated coaching experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to student development and community

Qualifications

• A valid Minnesota coaching certificate (or alternative qualifications) is required.
• Strong background in and understanding of wrestling.
• Successful coaching experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in building a comprehensive program and developing staff.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with the school community.
• Energetic, positive, and committed to student development.
• Ability to engage with parents, staff, and community leaders.
• Focus on character development and transformational coaching.
• Orientation toward continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with try-outs and team selection.
• Support practices, drills, and game-day operations.
• Collaborate with head coach to implement the program vision.
