Job summary

Millsaps College is seeking an Assistant Soccer Coach who will report to the Head Soccer Coach. This role involves recruiting athletes, coaching, and supporting the soccer program. Responsibilities include planning practice sessions, monitoring academic progress of student athletes, and assisting with travel logistics.

This is a full-time position with a stipend and on-campus housing included. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, alongside experience in soccer coaching and collegiate play.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in physical education or a relevant field required.
• Experience playing soccer at the collegiate level is necessary.
• 1-2 years of coaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and evaluate high school and college athletes.
• Provide on-field coaching of athlete skill development.
• Assist in the planning of practice sessions.
