Qualifications

Position Summary Information

Eastern Oregon University ( EOU ) is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at its main campus in La Grande, OR. The assistant coach will collaborate closely with the head coach to create, review, and communicate in-season weight room programming designed to build speed, strength, and overall athleticism in student-athletes, providing actionable feedback to optimize their physical performance. This is a part-time, limited duration position, spanning from August to November.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• One (1) year of collegiate athletic lifting experience.
• Must satisfactorily complete EOU criminal and credential background check. Having a criminal history is not an automatic bar to employment.
• In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire. Eastern Oregon University will not sponsor applicants for employment visas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
• Three (3) years of collegiate athletic lifting experience.
