Washington & Jefferson College is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach (Part-time). The Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach supports the head coach in managing a successful NCAA Division III women's lacrosse program. The Assistant Coach helps conduct practice drills and skill development and implements game strategy. The assistant coach also assists with recruitment and team onboarding processes and demonstrates leadership and sportsmanship. The role requires annual review of any rule changes relative to the sport.
The Assistant Coach helps plan and implement the in-season and off-season training schedule for women's lacrosse student athletes. In addition, helps formulate daily practice and weekly game practice plans.
The Assistant Coach is expected to be knowledgeable about local, state, and NCAA Division III regulations regarding recruiting and helps cultivate a network that identifies prospects that match the academic and athletic profile of Washington & Jefferson College.
