The Ashton at Anderson, a Sonida Senior Living community in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an Assistant Wellness Director to lead nursing operations and ensure high-quality, compliant care for residents.

Responsibilities include policy implementation, resident assessments, staffing oversight, and ensuring safe, compassionate care. Nursing leadership and supervisory experience are required, with an emphasis on regulatory adherence and resident well-being.

Competenze

• Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• RN license or equivalent in the relevant state.

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures reflecting current standards of nursing practice and state/federal regulations.
• Interprets policies to nursing staff and ensures effective implementation.
• Performs resident assessments and suggests appropriate service packages for residents and families.

• Monitors daily unit reports to respond to significant condition changes and prevent adverse events.

Assistant Wellness Director Responsibilities include:

• Maintains and implements nursing policies and procedures that reflect current standards of nursing practice, company, and facility philosophy of care and practices while maintaining compliance with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Communicates and interprets policies and procedures to nursing staff. Monitors practices for effective implementation and achievement of results.
• Conducts resident assessments, suggesting level of needed service packages to residents and their families, as directed.
• Ensures delivery of compassionate quality care evidenced by adequate services and staff coverage for the facility, appropriateness of staff, absence of odors, cleanliness, absence of pressure wounds, and apparent maintenance of optimal physical, mental and, psychosocial function.
• Demonstrates knowledge of and application of Key Clinical Quality Indicators.
• Reviews 24-hour report from every unit daily to ensure timely, effective responses to significant changes in condition, transfers, discharges, use of physical or chemical restraints, unexplained injuries, potential abuse or neglect, medication errors, loss of resident property, or any evidence of resident or family dissatisfaction, as directed.
• Listens and documents significant changes in condition of residents; including, but not limited to, incidents, unexplained injuries, medication errors, loss of resident property, or evidence of resident or family dissatisfaction per agency policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Two-year professional nursing experience in a senior living care setting.
• Two-years supervisory/management experience with direct care staff.
• Some states may allow for this to be an unlicensed position (WI, TX, SC)
