Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 5-10 years' experience in drinking water distribution systems.
• 5-10 years' experience in wastewater collections.
• 5 years of leadership experience and managing staff.
• OSHA 10 Certification required.
• MA Drinking Water Distribution 2 license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, directing, and managing all Water Department operations.
• Plan and coordinate hydrant flushing and valve exercises.
• Oversee budget development and year‑to‑year operating plans.
• Supervise staff and allocate daily assignments.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with MA DEP and EPA.
• Respond to water emergencies 24/7 and coordinate with other agencies.
