Capstone Logistics in Las Vegas, NV, is hiring an Assistant Site Manager. Compensation starts at $75,000+ per year with a schedule of 7am until finished, Wednesday through Sunday.

You will lead a warehouse team, negotiate carrier rates, manage daily deposits, logs, and reporting, while ensuring safety and customer satisfaction. The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, training, and process improvement within a fast-paced distribution center network across 48 states.

Qualifications

• 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience in providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers.
• Ability to train, coach, and mentor warehouse associates.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to simultaneously perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to solve problems and make effective decisions in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to manage budgets; read and interpret P&L statements; and prepare related management reports.
• Intermediate PC skills with knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives.
• Run site with safety and efficiency as priorities.
• Write and balance daily bank deposits.
• Create daily work logs and transmit to corporate.
• Audit daily labor and billing reports.
• Ensure customer needs are met daily.
• Document and resolve customer or associate issues daily.
• Enforce Capstone policies and safety rules.
• Hold weekly safety meetings and drive participation.
• Assist in managing site and departmental budgets.
• Schedule associate shifts based on customer requirements.
• Interview, hire, and train new associates.
• Supervise data entry for all services performed.
• Complete daily closeout, including cash balancing and payroll records.
