Assistant Warehouse Manager Job Description

Priority Wire & Cable is seeking an Assistant Warehouse Manager in Little Rock, AR, for our 2nd shift (2pm - 10:30pm). The ideal candidate should possess strong management skills, the ability to prioritize, and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to the distribution facility's operations in accordance with company policies and governmental regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 4 or more employees
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes
• Ensure quality control standards are met
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy
• Implement and enforce safety procedures
• Purchase and manage warehouse supplies

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

• Lift up to 80 lbs
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Operate sit-down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move products within the facility
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to overtime as needed
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential due to the in-person nature of the role
