ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER
On-Site Position
Full Time
Bi-lingual Required: Spanish and English

Food/Medical Distribution company seeking an experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for the Freezer, Refrigerator, and warehouse staff. Must be focused, deadline-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enforce OSHA compliance and assure an injury-free workplace
• Responsible for all aspects of hourly warehouse staff from hiring to termination, which includes staffing, development, supervision, and direction
• Establish and enforce operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and keeping of warehouse inventory
• Develop new strategies, cycle counts, and inventory management
• Demonstrate good supervisory, leadership, and motivational skills
• Extended time on feet
• Frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting (up to 80 lbs.)

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of warehouse, delivery, or distribution leadership experience
• Previous freezer experience
• Must be Forklift Operation Certified
• Must be able to lift 80+ pounds
