Job summary

First Heritage Mortgage is seeking an Assistant VP, Operations to lead offshore teams and support daily mortgage operations. The role reports to the EVP of Mortgage Operations and focuses on process improvements, compliance, and staff development.

The ideal candidate brings 3–5 years of mortgage operations experience, strong organizational and analytical skills, and advanced Encompass LO System proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of mortgage operations experience, including experience working with or managing offshore teams.
• Advanced proficiency in the Encompass Loan Origination System required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently while leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, training, and development of offshore staff and internal appraisal/QA teams.
• Collaborate with operations leadership to update and enforce policies and procedures.
• Assist the EVP of Operations with strategic initiatives and process improvements.
• Monitor workflow efficiency and drive optimization across functions.
• Foster cross-department communication and partnerships with offshore vendor partners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
