Principal Purpose of Position

Serves as the #2 manufacturing leader and strategic partner to VP Manufacturing. Responsible for driving integrated performance across multiple business units and ensuring alignment across safety, quality, delivery, cost and financial outcomes within a large-scale industrial environment.

Organizational Scope

• Second-in-command for manufacturing operations
• Direct oversight of three General Managers
• Leadership across a 1,000+ employee manufacturing organization
• Cross-functional integration with finance, HR, engineering and operations

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing strategy in partnership with VP Manufacturing
• Lead performance across GM-led business units
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity
• Support financial planning, forecasting and cost management
• Lead Lean transformation and continuous improvement
• Oversee capital projects and operational initiatives
• Develop leadership bench strength and succession plans
• Partner with executive leadership and stakeholders

Education and Training

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Relevant Work Experience

• 12+ years manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience in large-scale industrial environments
• Proven leadership of multi-unit or complex operations
• Experience managing senior leaders
