Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university with a strong academic record.
  • 3–4 years of experience in the financial services industry; back- or middle-office functions or related discipline preferred.
  • Understanding of investment funds, alternative investment structures, and related securities.
  • Experience reviewing and analyzing transaction documents, financial statements, and supporting corporate records.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance principles, fiduciary responsibilities, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Support CSPs with administration and fiduciary oversight of a diverse portfolio of funds.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Assist in financial statement reviews, engagement letters, and related documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and submit U.S. and foreign tax-related documentation for compliance.
  • Coordinate client invoices and assist with billing for existing and newly onboarded mandates.
  • Contribute to team capability development through trainings and knowledge sharing.

The Opportunity

The Assistant Vice President is responsible for supporting Client Service Professionals (CSPs) in the administration and fiduciary oversight of a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds while regularly engaging with clients and third-party service providers. The role serves as an important link between internal and external parties, helping to deliver exceptional client service, maintain strong operational controls, and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.

Key duties will include:

  • Supportbusinessdevelopmentinitiativesbyparticipatinginnewbusinessenquiries,analysingproposedstructures,reviewingtransactiondocumentsandprovidingcommentstorelevantstakeholdersasappropriate,andcoordinatingourclientacceptanceandonboardingprocesses
  • Developandmaintainstrongworkingrelationshipswithexternalstakeholders,includinglegalcounsel,investmentmanagers,fundadministrators,primebrokers,andothertransactionpartiesacrossmultipleinternationaljurisdictions.
  • SupportthefinancialstatementreviewprocessforCSPs,includingthereviewandanalysisoffinancialstatements,managementrepresentationletters,engagementletters,andotherrequireddocumentation,whileprovidingtimelyandsubstantivefeedback.
  • AssistCSPswiththepreparation,review,andsubmissionofU.S.andforeigntax-relateddocumentationtoensurecompliancewithapplicablefilingrequirementsanddeadlines.
  • SupportCSPsinachievingquarterlykeyperformanceindicator(KPI)objectivesandbroaderbusinessgoals.
  • Serveasthedesignatedadministratorforalimitedportfoliooffiduciarymandates,ensuringefficientandcompliantday-to-dayadministration.
  • Participateinconferencecalls,boardmeetings,andotherclient-facingengagementsasrequired.
  • Maintainaccurateandup-to-dateclientandtransactioninformationwithininternalsystemsanddatabases,ensuringtheintegrityofdataandrecordsrelatedtoassignedclientportfoliosandbusinessdevelopmentactivities.
  • Coordinatethepreparationandtimelydistributionofclientinvoicesinaccordancewithapplicableadministrationagreements.AssistCorporateAdministratorsandCSPswithbillingrequirementsforbothexistingandnewlyonboardedclientmandates.
  • Contributetothedevelopmentofteamcapabilitiesbypreparinganddeliveringtrainingsessionsandknowledge-sharinginitiativesasneeded.
