Job summary

Lake Asbury Learning Center in Green Cove Springs, FL is seeking devoted educators to support the Lead Teacher and help shape a nurturing learning environment for young children.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of licensed childcare experience, active DCF 45 Hours, CPR and First Aid, and the ability to work 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. 10 PTO days, holiday pay, 401K, and discounted childcare are offered.

What You’ll Do:

• Guiding Classroom Operations: Support the Lead Teacher in shaping the overall learning experience.
• Building Meaningful Connections: Forge strong relationships with both children and their families.
• Fostering a Positive Environment: Create a consistently positive, clean, and nurturing space for the children under your care.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Age: Be a minimum of 18 years old.
• Certification & Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completed and active DCF 45 Hours.
• Experience: 1 year in a licensed childcare setting.
• Training Requirements:
  • Possess CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Pass a Background Check.
• Shift: Ability to work 8:30am-5:30pm or 9:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Friday.
