Job summary

Responsibilities include overseeing operations, training staff, monitoring workflow, and ensuring safety and compliance across all service tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in management or related field preferred.
• 3+ years in truck service or automotive environment, supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of financial performance metrics, including P&L management.
• Familiarity with service tracking and inventory management software.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing overall operations of the Truck Services department, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork, accountability, and customer service excellence.
• Monitor workflow and support troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and safety standards are followed.
• Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring timely and accurate services.
• Engage with customers to address concerns and provide prompt solutions.
• Help achieve financial goals by monitoring expenses and supporting revenue growth initiatives.
• Perform duties of the Truck Services Manager in their absence.
